ABOUT ME

Hello!

My Vietnamese name is Uyển [Wingg ↗︎], though I am more commonly known as Rose. I am a Chartered Health Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Psychological Society (BPS). I also hold an Advance HE Fellowship.

My work focuses on the relationship between health, behaviour, and psychological wellbeing. I have experience supporting individuals living with long-term health conditions and lifestyle-related difficulties, including stress, sleep problems, weight management challenges, and adjustment to chronic illness. My approach integrates evidence-based psychological strategies with compassion, collaboration, and practical behaviour change support.

Alongside clinical practice, I am passionate about psychology education and public engagement. I am particularly interested in translating psychological research into accessible and meaningful everyday wellbeing practices. My broader interests include women’s wellbeing, self-care behaviours, skincare habits, and the psychological factors that influence sustainable lifestyle change.

Having lived and worked across Vietnam, Australia, and the UK, I value culturally responsive and inclusive approaches to psychological support. These experiences have strengthened my interest in how people’s environments, relationships, and daily habits shape both physical and emotional wellbeing.

My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental. I aim to create a space where people feel heard, respected, and supported in making realistic and sustainable lifestyle changes that align with their values and goals.
